Welcome to Pathways Charter School
"I know that I like Pathways. Today is Sunday and I'm really looking forward to school tomorrow. I've never felt that way before." ~ Pathways Student
Tuesday Pathways students were presented with a criminal case against their teachers based on a demonstrative theft from two weeks before. On Thursday Pathways brought District Attorney Mark Bensen in to discuss with students the roles of attorneys in the courtroom. Attorney Bensen discussed with students the application of laws, the process of cases, and many of the details of their case. Students “role played” within the discussion as defense lawyers and other key characters. Students were able to speak with him afterwards about Washington County cases. This was one of four guest speakers brought in to discuss Law & Public Safety with students, designed to connect their school experience with the working world.
Pathways is an instrumentality of the West Bend School District. As an Instrumentality of the West Bend School District, Pathways has a contract with the West Bend School District School Board to meet or exceed the academic standards of students in our middle and high schools.
